Even my volunteer efforts pay off in terms of publicity and awareness! I handled the production of a media advisory to announce a workshop presented by Boeing at my kids’ school. The workshop was part of national Engineering Week (E-Week) to promote STEM education.

From the media advisory work alone, we had two local Philadelphia news crews arrive onsite at the school, with an engaging 1:30 video piece broadcast during the 5:30pm newscast the same day.

I love this piece and the efforts to raise STEM awareness prior to high school!
